ABOUT FORGESIGHT
Twenty years of enterprise analytics and CRM.
We bring the kind of work big companies spend a fortune on to teams that need that depth without hiring for it full time.
Why I started this
DON LAPASKY · FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
I've spent over 20 years doing this inside companies that took data seriously. Rocket Mortgage, RouteOne, ProQuest, American Advisors Group, and most recently Career Now Brands.
Those companies put real money behind analytics and CRM because they understood both are foundational to growth. I got to build things properly, with good tools and good people, and I learned a lot that you can’t really learn anywhere else.
That's what led to ForgeSight. Smaller companies have the same problems. They just can't get to the same answers, because the people who know this work are either sitting inside a big company or getting billed out at $300+ an hour by a firm marking them up three times over.
I don’t carry that overhead. So I can charge a rate that works for a $10M business and still hand them something better than what they’d get from a firm charging five times as much.
I’m in Novi, Michigan. I’ll drive out to your office when that’s useful, and when you email me, I’m the one who answers.

Where the experience comes from
Before founding ForgeSight, I spent twenty years leading analytics and CRM inside companies large enough to invest seriously in both.

How we think about the work
Start with the decision, not the data
Every report should exist because somebody has a choice to make. If we can't work out what that choice is, we probably shouldn't build it yet.
If nobody opens it, it didn't work
You can build something technically perfect that nobody uses. We've watched it happen plenty of times. Design and training aren't the last 10% of a project. They're most of the reason it works.
Boring and reliable beats clever and fragile
A dashboard that runs quietly for three years is worth more than one that wows everybody in a demo and breaks by Q3.
You should never feel stuck with us
Everything gets documented and handed over. If you want to bring it in house next year, or hire somebody else, you should be able to. We'd rather you stay because you want to.
And a few things we don't do
We'd rather tell you early than halfway through.
We don't take on heavy custom Salesforce development. If your project needs thousands of lines of Apex or custom API work, you want a development shop, and we'll say so in the first conversation.
What we do is the senior admin work: objects, fields, permissions, page layouts, flows, reporting, dashboards, and integrations through the AppExchange. Most businesses never need more than that.
Let's talk about what you're working on.
Book a free working session. Tell us what isn't working, and we'll tell you how we'd approach it. You'll leave with at least one useful idea, whether or not you hire us.
