CRM & SALES OPERATIONS
Salesforce Consulting
Salesforce can do almost anything. That’s usually how it ends up doing none of it well.
Sound familiar?
Your reps keep a spreadsheet on the side
When the system takes longer than the workaround, people use the workaround. Your pipeline moves onto somebody’s laptop and you find out in the middle of a forecast call.
Nobody trusts the reports
Three dashboards, three answers, same quarter. It’s usually duplicates, or opportunities nobody ever closed out, or one field that means different things to sales and finance.
It fits the company you were in 2019
You’ve added a product line since then and changed how deals move. The stages didn’t change with you.
Your admin left
There are flows nobody can explain and validation rules that fire at inconvenient moments. Nothing’s broken enough to force the issue.
What we do
First-time implementations, built around how you sell rather than around a template
Cleanup: duplicates, dead records, fields nobody’s filled in since 2021
Objects, fields, page layouts and record types that match how you sell now
Automation built in Flow, and documented so the next person can follow it
Reports and dashboards your executives will read
Migrations, into Salesforce or out of something you’ve outgrown
Integrations through the AppExchange
Training and documentation, because that’s where most of this succeeds or fails
What we don’t do, and we’ll say it in the first conversation: heavy custom development. Our work is what a strong senior admin does. Anything that can be configured with little or no code. If your project needs thousands of lines of Apex or custom API work, you want a development shop, and we’ll tell you that rather than take the project. For most businesses, configuration goes further than they expect.
Case study
Schoolcraft College
Several people on Schoolcraft College’s Workforce & Economic Development team work the same accounts, and they’d bought Salesforce to coordinate that. What they wanted was a setup built around the way the department actually runs.
We rebuilt it with custom objects for the events they run in the community, the students they place with local businesses, and the training they sell. Then we put a dashboard on the homepage showing department-wide performance, and trained the team to log their own activity and read everyone else’s.
They work accounts together now, and the whole department can see the wins.
How we work
Assess
We start with a free working session. You show us what you’ve got and what isn’t working, and we map the gap. No obligation, and you’ll leave with something useful either way.
Build
Fixed scope, fixed price, clear timeline. Most first projects run three to four weeks.
Enable
We train your team and document what we built. The goal is for you to run it without us.
Questions we get asked
How is this different from hiring an admin?
A senior admin in Michigan costs six figures, and most teams our clients’ size don’t have enough work to fill the role. We come in for the project, build it properly, document it, and train whoever looks after it day to day. Some clients bring us back twice a year. Some never need us again.
Do you write Apex?
No. We do senior admin work: objects, fields, permissions, page layouts, flows, reporting, dashboards, AppExchange integrations. Anything configurable with little or no code. If what you need genuinely requires custom development, we’ll say so early and help you scope it for someone who does it.
Our data’s a mess. Should we clean it up before calling you?
No, that’s frequently the job. We’ll see how bad it is in the free session and tell you whether it’s an afternoon of deduplication or a proper migration. Don’t spend a month tidying first, because you’ll probably tidy the wrong things.
We bought Salesforce and never really rolled it out. Too far gone?
Not at all, and it happens more than you’d think. Sometimes the answer is a reset. Sometimes Salesforce is heavier than you need, and we’ll say so and point you at something that fits better, whether that’s a lighter Salesforce edition, HubSpot’s free tier, or something else entirely. In most of those cases we can still build it for you.
Can you move us from another CRM?
Yes, migrations are a good share of what we do. Moving the data is rarely the hard part. Deciding what deserves to come across is where the real work happens.
Will our team actually use it?
That’s the question that matters, which is why training and documentation are in every scope instead of being sold separately. A system nobody logs into is a failed project however well it’s built.
Setting it up, or sorting it out?
Book a free working session. Whether you’re implementing Salesforce for the first time or untangling one that’s been running for years, we’ll tell you what we’d tackle first.
