CUSTOMER-FACING ANALYTICS
Analytics your customers pay for
Reporting that people outside your company see is a different job from reporting that your own team sees. It has to be right, stay right without anyone watching it, and be worth money.
Sound familiar?
Your reporting was built for your team, and now customers want it
What started as an internal view is being shown to people who did not build it and will not forgive it. Every rough edge becomes a support ticket.
You are delivering by hand
The information is genuinely valuable. Getting it to each customer means somebody compiling a file, per customer, per period, which caps how many customers you can carry.
Renewals become an argument about value
You know the product works. Proving it at renewal means exporting numbers into a deck the week before the call.
Every customer wants their own cut
They don’t want your report, they want their slice of it, on their terms, without emailing anyone. You’re either building one-offs by hand or saying no.
What we do
Pipelines rebuilt so the reporting refreshes reliably and the numbers reconcile
Multi-tenant access with row-level security, so each customer sees their own data and nothing else
Entitlement logic that matches how you sell, by customer, by region, by report, by tier
Dashboards designed for people who did not buy an analytics tool and will not learn one
Embedding into your product or portal, not a link out to somewhere that looks nothing like you
Performance work, so a customer-facing view still loads when the data set doubles
Documentation and training, so the next person to own it can extend it without calling us
Case studies
Structurely
Structurely’s AI agents qualify leads by call, text and email. Their customers wanted a clearer view of how those agents were performing, and the reporting they had was at the end of what it could do. We rebuilt the pipelines underneath, redesigned the Tableau dashboards, and embedded them in the client portal so each customer sees only their own data. Clients can see the conversion uplift for themselves, which makes renewal conversations a great deal easier. Structurely turned the whole suite into an additional revenue stream.
The National Transportation Institute
NTI’s business is data: they survey driver pay and benefits across the country and sell it to companies who use it to keep their pay packages competitive. Orders were filled by hand, with someone compiling a spreadsheet of the cities each customer had bought. We built a Power BI product on top of it, so a customer picks their own variables and gets their own comparison immediately, with subscriptions controlling who sees what. There is a longer write-up of that build on our Power BI consulting page.
Career Now Brands
Career Now Brands needed Tableau skills they didn’t carry on the team and didn’t want to hire for full time. Their AI-powered recruiting system works; what was missing was a way for their customers to see how well. We built the customer-facing suite and still work with them on it in a fractional capacity.
How we work
Assess
We start with a free working session. You show us what you’ve got and what isn’t working, and we map the gap. No obligation, and you’ll leave with something useful either way.
Build
Fixed scope, fixed price, clear timeline. Most first projects run three to four weeks.
Enable
We train your team and document what we built. The goal is for you to run it without us.
Questions we get asked
Can you embed dashboards inside our product?
Yes, with row-level security so each customer sees only their own data, inside your application rather than a link out to somewhere else.
We’re not a software company. We just have data people want to buy. Is this you?
Yes, and it’s some of our favorite work. NTI sells pay and benefits data. The problem is the same one a software company has: the value already exists, and getting it to the person who needs it takes manual effort every time.
Power BI or Tableau for something customer-facing?
Both work. Tableau tends to win when design is carrying the weight and the audience is your customers. Power BI suits parameter-driven products where someone picks variables and the layout responds, which is how the NTI product works. We build in both and neither one pays us.
Can customers only see what they’ve paid for?
Yes. Entitlement logic is part of the build, by customer, by region, by report, by tier, whatever your commercial model needs.
Our data is spread across several systems. Do we fix that first?
Usually at the same time. Most of the work on these projects sits underneath the dashboard, and you can’t ship customer-facing reporting on pipelines you don’t trust.
How long before we can put it in front of a customer?
A first customer-facing suite usually runs six to eight weeks, longer if the data layer needs substantial rebuilding. You get the scope and the price before we start either way.
Who maintains it afterwards?
You, unless you’d rather we stayed. Everything is documented and your team is trained. Some clients keep us on a few days a month.
Show us what your customers are asking for.
Book a free working session. Tell us what your reporting does today and what customers want from it, and we’ll tell you how we’d approach it. You’ll leave with a first step worth taking, whether or not you hire us.
